Stiffer suspension, tiring on rough roads
Across mixed terrains, I have driven the Great Wall Cannon, and its weaknesses and strengths became very obvious. It feels very refined in the city, and the steering is light. The stiffer suspension keeps the body from rocking around. However, as soon as I hit the rough road, the firmness of this vehicle becomes exhausting. Over corrugations, the rear end seems to be skittish. It doesn’t settle quickly on high-speed dips. The cabin has a straightforward and cleaner approach.
