About MG Philippines

Now managed by The Covenant Car Company, Inc., MG entered the Philippines market, once again, in 2019. The British Automaker, since, has been launching newer models belonging to different segments to grab a higher market share in the Philippines automobile market as well as satisfy a wide range of various needs and lifestyles.

As of now, MG Philippines offers as many as four cars in the country, namely ZS and RX5, both of which are crossovers and 5 & 6, which are sedan models. Starting at Php 658,888, the MG 5 remains to be the most affordable car by the British automaker in the Philippines, whereas the MG RX5 is the most expensive model with its price tag ranging up to Php 1.3 million.

In its first year following the return to the Philippines, MG managed to sell 5,085 units in the year 2019. The Chinese automaker grabbed the 9th spot on the list of top-selling auto brands in the Philippines by CAMPI, TMA, and AVID.
