Basic family hauler
The Toyota Avanza is a basic family hauler largely meant for commuting. Four years owning and driving the car has been a nice experience. Looks-wise the Avanza doesn’t look out of the world. The interior has space enough to carry seven passengers. The cargo space can be increased by folding the rear seat. The 1.3-litre engine is decent for daily commuting. On the highway, the Avanza is not much of a performer. The coil spring rear suspension does a good job in retaining the ride comfort. Maintenance is not an issue and I haven’t needed any spare parts change in these years.
