Sporty looks and amazing handling
Yamaha’s YZF series is hailed for its great handling capability and the YZF-R3 is no different. The diamond-type frame, upside-down hydraulic telescopic forks, and a linked monoshock with rectangular swingarm, aid in the bike’s superb handling. The suspension though not very smooth, isn’t stiff either. The Yamaha YZF-R3 has exceptional handling. Singe disc brakes on both wheels lend great stopping power. I found the bike to be a perfect balance between a super-sport tourer and a sports-commuter bike. The ride position is comfortable and doesn’t strain you in case of long distances. The engine is refined in performance and good in acceleration.
