The Toyota 86 is a car that looks fast and has the necessary components to back up its looks. The sports coupe uses a 2.0L direct-injection, 4-stroke, 16-valve DOHC boxer engine. The direct-injection fuel supply system allows the 86 to reach astronomical speeds: on the highway, you can maximize the 200PS@7000rpm and 205Nm@6400-6600rpm to buzz past other vehicles.
The supporting components of the car include a MacPherson strut and double wishbone suspension systems, 16” and 15” ventilated disc brakes, front performance rod, an electronic power steering system, 17”x7J alloy wheels and 215/45 R17 tires. And while it may not be as fast as a Ford Mustang, these features, combined with the lightweight chassis allow the 86 to speed up and maximize its boxer engine’s potential.
