2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid is Now More Refined, Powerful and Fuel-Efficient
It has been America's most popular and best-selling CUV over the past 22 years. And with a such a long history behind it, the 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid deserves the best and innovative technology to date: Honda's two-motor hybrid technology. Now fitted with improved battery performance, it now has an expanded range of electric-only (EV mode) operation for better options.
The Japanese company promises the Honda CR-V Hybrid to be the most powerful and fuel-efficient CR-V yet, with a 40 mpg (17 kpl) EPA city fuel economy rating, a more powerful, off-the-line acceleration, and the refinement of Honda's latest generation of two-motor hybrid technology that has a better, more improved all-electric operation range.
The All-wheel Drive with Intelligent Control System gives buyers additional inclement-weather driving confidence. Like its gasoline-only alternative, it also many safety and driver assistive technologies , automatic high beams, and automatic climate control.
The newest CR-V Hybrid stands out from the other CR-V lineup by offering a unique front and rear styling cues that have the Hybrid badging on the grille, tailgat and front fenders. It also has hybrid-exclusive 5-lamp LED fog lights, with a unique rear bumper design that gives it more character. And similar to the 2020 CR-V lineup, the 2020 CR-V Hybrid offers a all-new 19-inch wheels on Touring trims, new alloy wheel and headlight designs.
Similar to its non-hybrid cousin, the CR-V Hybrid's interior has a lot of space inside the cabin, with full-flat folding and 60/40-split second-row seat. Of course, customers can also look forward to the distinct, three buttons to the right of the push-button gear selector for easy access to the Sport, EV and ECON modes.
The CR-V Hybrid comes with additional standard features that include LED headlights, Smart Entry and Push button Start, and a cargo cover. It also comes with the standard with the Honda Sensing® suite of advanced safety and driver-assistive technologies. This feature includes: Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and pedestrian sensing capability, Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with low-speed follow and Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS).
There are also additional driver-assistive technologies include the available blind spot information, Rear Cross Traffic Monitor and Auto High Beam headlights.
The new CR-V Hybrid comes fitted with a standard Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System plus LED headlights, Smart Energy and Push button Start, and cargo cover. It's Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price starts at $27,750 (PHP1.4M) (excluding destination and handling charges). It will start arriving at dealerships on March 1.
