ADVISORY: DPWH to resume weekend road repairs in NCR until Oct. 3

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said that weekend road repairs will resume starting at 11 p.m. tonight.

In its latest advisory, the agency said that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will implement road repairs on the following roads:

• Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) northbound Quezon City: EDSA Carousel bus lane Santolan MRT Station, EDSA Carousel bus lane (after Boni Serrano to P. Tuazon Avenue), after Aurora Boulevard to Kamuning (third lane from sidewalk, intermittent section)
• C-5 Road Pasig City truck lane (KM 15 + 171 TO KM 15 + 665)
• C-5 Road southbound (3rd lane) Makati City
• Fairview Avenue northbound Quezon City after corner Yakal Street, (first lane from sidewalk)
• Cloverleaf EDSA northbound to segment of North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) northbound (outer lane)
• Cloverleaf EDSA northbound to segment of NLEX northbound (inner lane)
• Roosevelt Avenue near corner EDSA southbound
• EDSA southbound Quezon City (Balingasa Creek to Oliveros Footbridge)

 The MMDA said that the aforementioned roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. September 26, (Monday) and urged that for the time being, motorists may want to take alternative routes.
