With that, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) said that the recognition received by the Japanese automotive manufacturer in the aforementioned occasion “highlights Honda’s commitment for everyone sharing the road, can safely and confidently enjoy the freedom of mobility.”
In over 10 years, Honda had eight models tested at ASEAN-NCAP and achieved several excellent results and ratings. It is within this period that the agency has developed three protocols: 2012-2016, 2017-2020 and 2021-2025. The latest roadmap (2021-2025) covers four assessment domains such as Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection, Safety Assist and Motorcyclist Safety.
Further, HCPI assured that the mother company will continue to provide safe and reliable vehicles and lead efforts to realize zero traffic collision fatalities involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles globally by 2050.
