The Audi Group — otherwise known as the Premium Brand Group — reported that it has seen a 16.4 percent increase in its overall revenue in 2022.

    For the Audi brand, the fully electric Q4 e-tron, the e-tron GT quattro, and other e-tron models were among its best-sellers. Sales of the aforementioned models contributed to Audi’s 1.614 million deliveries in 2022.

    Bentley, on the other hand, made 15,174 deliveries last year while Lamborghini sold 9,233 cars in 2022. Meanwhile, Ducati completed 61,562 motorbike deliveries the previous year.

    Overall, the Audi Group delivered 1.638 million units in 2022.

    “Audi demonstrated great financial strength in 2022 despite challenging global conditions and broke records in revenue and operating profit. These results give us confidence that we will continue to achieve our ambitious strategic goals going forward,” said Audi Chief Financial Officer Jürgen Rittersberger.

    Looking at 2023, the Audi Group revealed that it is planning to hit an even higher revenue target this year.

    Per the so-called Premium Brand Group, it is aiming at a €69 billion to €72 billion (P4.061 trillion to P4.238 trillion) revenue this year. To achieve that, the Audi Group will have to sell 1.8 to 1.9 million cars in 2023.
