Auto Focus Summer Test Drive slated this week

Sunshine Television (STV) is set to hold the 2023 edition of the Auto Focus Summer Test Drive event late this week.

Known as the biggest outdoor test drive event in the country, the program (scheduled on May 4-7 at the SM the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds) is a one-stop shop for prospective car buyers.

Per STV, models from Ford, GAC Motor, Great Wall Motor, Honda, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota and Weltmeister will be available for test drives.

“Growing out of the multi-weekend series of outdoor display/test drive projects that began in 2005 and subsequently developing into a major four-day event erstwhile known as the Auto Focus Motor Show and Auto Expo from 2007, the program’s main purpose is to serve as a veritable one-stop shop for those looking to buy a car,” STV Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ray Butch Gamboa explained.

“Bringing together the Philippines’ leading car manufacturers and distributors in a single venue to display their best models and offer test drives, it provides car buyers and enthusiasts the opportunity to compare similar, competing models head-to-head, and look out for the best deals, discounts and financing offers available. It eliminates the inconvenient and time-consuming ordeal of having to hop from one dealer showroom to another.”

Presented by Caltex, the 2023 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive will be open from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and admission will be free.
