Autokid, Dongfeng Solidify New Partnership

Autokid, the Philippine’s leading truck dealer, has inked a partnership with Dongfeng Automotive Co., Ltd., that makes the former the premier distributor of Dongfeng trucks in the country. As a result, Autokid now carries Dongfeng's range of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks to serve the different needs of various local businesses.

The two companies celebrated the milestone with the event, 'Drive Your Business: The Autokid-Dongfeng Grand Launch' last June 26. The event was attended by key partners, suppliers and customers of both companies, along with invited guests.

The light-duty trucks belonging to the Dongfeng Captain series deliver both power and efficiency via their efficient Euro IV-compliant engines. The trucks are well-equipped with smart and modern driving and safety features. These come in dropside, aluminum van, refrigerated van and FB type, double cabin and mini-dump, boom type, and other body options.

For medium-duty, Dongfeng offers the Dongfeng KR, featuring a Cummins and Yuchai engine. The Dongfeng KR can handle the most challenging construction jobs, and comes in cargo, dump, cement mixer, and boom type body options.

The Dongfeng KL is the brand's candidate for heavy-duty logistical needs. Available in tractor head or cargo truck variants, the Dongfeng KL boasts a powerful 380-hp Cummins Euro V engine and reliable powertrain, along with smart safety and driving features.

The Dongfeng KC is another heavy-duty hauler that hosts a strong powertrain, solid chassis, and a 375-hp Cummins Euro engine. From construction to mining and everything in-between, the Dongfeng KC is designed to serve your varying needs.

Dongfeng also has a host of light trucks that can be reconfigured to match special-purpose vehicle (SPV) needs.
