BMW M Performance Parts now available for BMW 5 Series and M5 cars

BMW announced a new suite accessories for the 5-Series sports sedan—as well as its performance variants the M5 and M5 Competition—through its M Performance Parts division. Among the new add-ons are a whole range of visual and performance upgrades, including multiple carbon fiber panels, interior trims, and wheel designs. The M5 variants also get a few exclusive upgrades to make them more track-focused.

Even the standard 5-Series gets an array of carbon fiber panels both inside and out. To maximize the sporty look, BMW M Performance Parts is also adding a front splitter, mirror caps, fender vents, side skirts, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler to the options—all made of durable yet lightweight material. However, performance enhancers are limited to drilled brake rotors and mufflers.

The M5 trims also gets its own set of aesthetic enhancements, with a few exclusive parts thrown in including forged wheels, stripe accents, and carbon fiber-trimmed steering wheel, among others. Mechanical upgrades include height-adjustable coilover suspension that delivers "a lower center of gravity, less roll tendency and higher cornering speeds,” sportier brake pads and five new wheel design sets. A more pronounced exhaust system is also available for diesel models.

BMW did not yet announce the pricing and availability of the parts, but these details are expected very soon, since the new 2021 5 Series is already on its way to BMW dealerships worldwide.

The BMW 5 Series we currently have in the PH is still the 2020 model, which has a price range of PHP3.99 to 7.39 million.
