BYD Cars Philippines has started accepting reservations for the Sealion 6 prior to its launch set within the week.

    Per BYD Cars Philippines, the Sealion 6’s indicative pricing is at P1.6 million.

    In line with the official opening of reservation books for the soon-to-be-revealed model, BYD Cars Philippines shared that it has started delivering the model’s initial examples to its dealerships in Quezon Avenue, Makati, Bonifacio Global City, Cebu, and Davao, as well as to the other authorized BYD dealerships in the country that are already operational.

    The company is now inviting customers to pre-order prior to the formal launch on July 25 at the Glorietta Activity Center.

    In a statement, the company added that the Sealion 6 is powered by the BYD Super DM-i Technology, which is said to be designed to attain driving ranges beyond 1,000 kilometers. According to BYD Cars Philippines, its target market is “those who aspire to enjoy the cost savings and benefits of all-electric driving while having the ability to travel over even greater distances than ever before.”

    “The BYD Sealion 6 with Super DM-i technology will change the local automotive landscape,” BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca said.

    “We encourage everyone to witness the introduction of the BYD Sealion 6 DM-i on July 25, 2024, at the Glorietta Activity Center,” he added.

    Relatedly, the first BYD Tech Tour will also be held from July 26-28, 2024, at the same venue. It will include test drives and interactive displays about the latest innovations and technologies in BYD electric vehicles.

    “These are exciting times for Filipino car buyers. As the Global number 1 NEV brand, we are leading the way in bringing into the country the latest electric vehicle technologies that will ultimately benefit car buyers and bring sustainable mobility to more of our countrymen,” Palanca noted.
