CAMPI April 2025 YTD sales hits 150k-unit mark
MANILA: The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) have collectively retailed 150,654 vehicles in the first four months of 2025.

Last month, the organizations delivered 33,580 examples to its clients.As seen in their joint report, the two organizations enjoyed a 2.5-percent sales growth compared to the 146,920 units sold during the same period last year.
However, the groups’ performance slowed down in April 2025 after selling only 33,580 examples —16.7-percent less than the 40,306 examples-churn last March and 10-percent lower when compared to the 37,314 vehicles rolled out to clients for the same month in 2024.
In a statement CAMPI and TMA shared that the April 2025 sales slowdown is due to “seasonal factors, economic conditions, or evolving consumer demands.”
“Industry leaders continue to monitor market trends and expect further developments in the months ahead,” the statement added.

Out of the latest overall vehicle sales churn, CAMPI-TMA handed over 6,820 electrified models.

Performance per category
Still having the biggest share of the local automotive market’s sales pie is the commercial vehicle segment. Based on the CAMPI-TMA report, members that offer products in the said category collectively turned over 119,824 units to clients, which represents nearly 80 percent of their overall sales in January-April 2025.
This buffered the 19.5-percent slide that the passenger car segment experienced in the first four months of the year —retailing 30,830 vehicles as against the 38,820 examples sold in the same period of 2024

Earlier, CAMPI President Rommel Gutierrez said that the two groups are targeting to sell 500,000 units for 2025.
