Chevrolet Debuts Two Custom Trucks at the 2019 Thailand Motor Expo

The Chevrolet Colorado is one of the all-American classics. It’s big, it’s muscular, and it’s rugged. At this year's Thailand Motor Expo, Chevrolet decided to release two new stunning concept trucks: the low stance RS Street, and the serious off roading Panther. The two trucks were revealed to the public in order to whet the appetite of truck fans all over the country and all over the world. The Colorado RS Street is a truck that likes to break the rules. A low stance pickup truck that is lowered even further, fitted with 18 inch wheels and Brembo brakes, RECARO bucket seats, a racing style steering wheel, adjustable shocks and struts, and equipped it with a hodgepodge of gauges. The RS Street is wrapped in black and orange, using Chevy’s unique stylistic NASCAR inspired graphic wrap. It is important to note that Chevrolet has a rich NASCAR heritage and this truck is one of the brand’s ways of paying homage to its roots. On the other side of the spectrum, the Colorado Panther is a lean, mean, heavy duty machine. The Panther is based on the limited edition Midnight Colorado. Chevrolet, along with the help of Australia’s General Motors team, went all out on this beast of a pickup, making it look so muscular and aggressive that it looks like a contender for Baja 1000. The Panther is fitted with a heavy duty off road bash plate, tubular side steps, a towing package, an extended sports bar, an LED light bar, and 17 inch 4x4 wheels with BF Goodrich tires, and a menacing hood bulge. “These two inspirational concept trucks show what is possible with the Chevrolet Colorado. Colorado is one of the most versatile and capable pick-up trucks on the planet and is the perfect platform for Thai customers to stamp their personal style,” said Hector Villarreal, President of GM Southeast Asia. “From low-stance street fighter to high-stance off-road warrior, these concepts show how Chevrolet is pushing the limits to excite, inspire and challenge our customers. These concepts will surely inspire truck enthusiasts across the country to challenge all possibilities.”
