The team will also receive the ‘2019 Red Dot: Design Team of the Year’ award when the ceremony commences this July 8 in Essen, Germany. These latest wins hand the Italian supercar maker its 14th Red Dot Award spanning four years, from 2015 to 2019.
“Receiving such a prestigious award encourages all the members of the Ferrari Design Team to draw new creative stimulation, which fuels our passion for our work,” said Manzoni, senior vice-president for Design at Ferrari.
Aside from the Monza SP1, other Ferrari units that helped the company earn the rest of the Red Dot distinctions include the FXX-K, 488 GTB, J50, and Portofino.
