Flagship Caltex station in PH to rise in BGC

Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI) is set to open a Caltex flagship dealership in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

The goal has been set after the local marketer of Caltex products in the country and Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC) inked an agreement for it — bringing to the country the concept that raked in awards in Malaysia and Singapore.

Based on the pact, forged by the two, the landmark service station (which will include a Caltex Autopro workshop) will be located along 32nd Street, Crescent Park West District, BGC, Taguig City.

To include, the soon-to-rise Caltex BGC station will have sustainability-related features such as electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities; utilization of eco-friendly materials that include paints and adhesives with low or zero volatile organic compound (VOC) content; and will have energy-harnessing solar panels to light up the building's LED illumination system.

Further, the forthcoming Caltex station shall also have a rainwater collection system, and install dedicated bicycle racks.

In addition, the Caltex BGC station will feature a living wall that will enhance the establishment’s aesthetics.

Meanwhile, the company said that the flagship Caltex Autopro will feature a distinct look that is tailored for its market in the BGC area. “It will have a complete offering to consumers availing of workshop services as well as a premium customer lounge. Stepping into the Caltex Autopro workshop, customers will be greeted with modern and well-equipped facilities that instantly put customers at ease,” CPI shared in a statement.

 “We are delighted to finalize this partnership with Chevron Philippines. We are aligned in the vision of having a world-class service station that promotes friendly technologies along with traditional fuels. At BGC, we believe in innovation, sustainability and adaptability and we feel that the addition of a flagship Caltex station here adds significant value to the estate, our locators, and our motorists,” FBDC Chief Operating Officer Alfie Reyes was quoted saying.

Meanwhile, CPI Country Chairman Billy Liu sees the latest move as an “opportunity to combine the complementary strengths of both CPI and FBDC” that will enable them to provide motorists with superior fuel and customer experience — “especially those in highly urbanized commercial districts such as BGC.”

“This service station is a testament to our dedication in elevating the customer experience while growing our retail network in key locations nationwide, Caltex aims to always make every journey easier, better, and happier for our motorists,” he added.
