Geely PH breaks ground on 3 dealerships

Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) continues with its aggressive growth plan as it broke ground on three new dealerships — expected to be fully operational starting next year.

Aggressive with its expansion bid, the local distributor of Geely vehicles in the country announced that it has conducted groundbreaking rites in three provinces last month — firm to its commitment to reach more customers around the country.

In Calamba, Laguna, Alphamile Automotive Dealers Inc. — under the leadership of Paul and Mark Tionson — will soon be opening a Geely outlet there. Located at AH26 Highway Barangay Makiling, Geely Calamba outlet will rise on a 1,500-square meter lot. SGAP shared that the dealership is planned to have six service bays and a showroom that can showcase six cars.  

Topcars Autoworld Corporation will soon be establishing Geely Tacloban and MNV Auto Group Inc. for the Bacolod store for the Visayas region.

Operating in the business for nearly a decade, Topcars Autoworld Corporation will be opening its seventh dealership with the soon-to-open Tacloban shop. This facility, which is eyed to have six service bays and can display four to five cars inside the showroom, is situated at Tabuan National Highway in Palo, Leyte.

Further, the forthcoming Geely Bacolod — targeted to be a 1,000-square meter dealership, will soon rise at Magsaysay Ave., Bacolod City. It is also expected to have six service bays and showroom that can fit a four to five cars.

SGAP President and Chief Executive Officer Yosuke Nishi is elated with the latest addition to the company’s growing family.

“I am very pleased to welcome Geely Calamba, Tacloban, and Bacolod in the Geely network as we aggressively expand our dealership network in the Southern Luzon provinces, Visayas, and the rest of the country,” he said.

“The addition of these three outlets will further strengthen Geely’s market presence and at the same time provide residents of these areas access to Geely’s exciting and high technology vehicles and world class facilities,” he added.
