Here's what to expect with the PH-spec all-new Honda Civic

Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) has confirmed the arrival of the all-new Civic, which is the 11th version of the iconic model for the Japanese automaker.

In a statement, Honda's local automotive distributor will be holding a virtual launch this coming November 23 through its official Facebook page.

“The 11th generation all-new Honda Civic is all set to ‘Accelerate Greatness’,” HCPI said in a statement.

Touted as the “Best Civic ever”, HCPI noted that the three variants of the upcoming Honda Civic are all equipped with a turbocharged VTEC engine paired to a continuous variable transmission (CVT) namely the following: 

• All-New Civic S Turbo CVT
• All-New Civic V Turbo CVT
• All-New Civic RS Turbo CVT

It prices will range from P1.3 million to P1.7 million.

The local arm for Honda also revealed that the incoming model will have the improved Honda Sensing suite of safety features such as:

• Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
• Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
• Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW)
• Auto High-Beam (AHB)
• Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC with LSF)
• New Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN)

Recently, the incoming sedan offering was graded five stars in the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia (ASEAN NCAP) after receiving an overall rating of 83.47 points under the latest 2021-2025 Protocol.

“This is aligned with Honda’s commitment to a collision-free society so that everyone sharing the road can safely and confidently enjoy the freedom of mobility,” HCPI noted.

Moreover, the all-new Honda Civic will be available in five body color options:

• Morning Mist Blue Metallic (new color; V Turbo CVT and S Turbo CVT)
• Meteoroid Grey Metallic (new color; RS Turbo CVT, V Turbo CVT, and S Turbo CVT)
• Ignite Red Metallic (exclusively for RS Turbo CVT)
• Platinum White Pearl (RS Turbo CVT and V Turbo CVT)
• Lunar Silver Metallic (exclusively for S Turbo CVT)

The company said that it is accepting reservations for the all-new Honda Civic starting today.

HCPI also shared that until the end of this month, its 37 dealerships will be offering customers the Platinum White Pearl All-New Honda Civic for all variants at no additional cost. However, buyers need to hurry up as the S Turbo CVT vehicles in Platinum White Pearl will only be available in a limited number.

Furthermore, those who will reserve the all-new Civic V Turbo CVT variant until the end of this year will be given a free Modulo Trunk Tray and Modulo Exhaust Pipe Finisher on top of all other promotions offered for the month of the vehicle release until January 31, 2022. 

The all-new Honda Civic V Turbo CVT will arrive in the Philippines starting January 2022.
