Honda Cars gives away PPEs and computers to celebrate 3 decades in PH
The local automobile arm of Japanese marque Honda proves that their 30th year anniversary is not just all about cars and promos, but about having a heart for the Filipinos.
As part of its celebration this month, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) donated equipment that would benefit the medical and educational institutions in Laguna.
HCPI handed over various Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to three hospitals in the province, namely Santa Rosa Community Hospital in Santa Rosa, Laguna; Ospital ng Binan in Binan, Laguna; and Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital in Calamba, Laguna.
As the country's students are practicing home school education, HCPI also donated some 30 desktop computers in coordination with the Department of Education-Schools Division of Santa Rosa. These computers were distributed to 18 schools in the area.
HCPI executive vice president Ryohei Adachi expressed the company’s elation towards helping the communities around them.
“As we celebrate our 30th anniversary here in the Philippines, we are pleased to have done this donation drive to show our appreciation to our medical frontliners and educators during this difficult time. Through this gesture, we hope that we were able to assist the various institutions as they endure the obstacles caused by the pandemic.” Adachi was quoted as saying.
Earlier, HCPI announced that they will be raffling off a Honda Brio to mark their 30th year in the country. Until March 18 next year, Honda car owners who will successfully register and provide or update their contact information (via phone call and email verification) in the microsite link of HCPI will get one corresponding e-raffle entry for a chance to win a Brio and other exciting items.
Tomorrow (Thursday, October 22) they are also set to unveil two models for this year— the latest Honda City and the new CR-V.
The version of the City was previously launched in Thailand late last year while the CR-V was introduced there back in July this year.
The upcoming City is now being offered with new variant names and colors
