Jaguar Land Rover to Reveal Expanded Vehicle Lineup at 2020 Chicago Auto Show

Jaguar Land Rover is all set to showcase its expanded vehicle lineup at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show on February 6-17 at McCormick Place, it will highlight the North American debut of the the new 2021 Jaguar F-Type sports car.

The 2021 Jaguar F-Type has been redesigned for a more attractive exterior. Embodying the Jaguar DNA in its purest form, the two-seat sports car offers a perfect symmetry of performance and driver reward. Boasting a "more muscular, assertive design and a driver-focused cabin defined by rich, luxurious materials and beautiful details",

Aside from the F-Type sports car, Jaguar will also introduce the latest 2020 versions of its models on the auto show. Some of the vehicles to be displayed are the 2020, all-electric Jaguar I-PACE SUV, F-PACE performance SUV, E-PACE compact SUV, Jaguar XE sports sedan, and extreme performance vehicle Jaguar XE SV Project 8.

Those who are into SUVs are in for a sure treat. Land Rover will reveal the brand's complete model lineup of premium SUVs, such as the newest Land Rover Defender that's scheduled to go on sale in the US this spring.

The highly anticipated new Land Rover Defender has new  things in store for this year. Things to look forward to are a tougher exterior--Land Rover's “unique monocoque architecture”, that makes it the toughest and strongest vehicle “they have ever created”. Also expect an upgraded interior, such as updated touchscreens, tall shifters, and switchgear.

Meanwhile, the Land Rover Defender will have a new platform and suspension setup that gives a “long-haul cruising comfort. It allows a maximum braked-towing capacity of 3500kg, a payload of 900kg, and a 300kg static roof load. It comes in two body types: 90 or 110, with a choice of six variants: the Defender, S, SE, HSE, First Edition or Defender X. What’s more, the Defender will have four Accessory Packs created to suit your needs: the Explorer Pack, Adventure Pack, Country Pack, and Urban Pack. Land Rover calls it the “ultimate personalization”.

Other SUVs that will be showcased at the Chicago Auto Show are the 2020 Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Velar and Range Rover Evoque. The Discovery and Discovery Sport, which has been significantly updated for 2020, is also set to go on stage as well.
