Latest 'Honda Helps' program extends hand to Typhoon Carina-stricken customers

Honda Cars Philippines Incorporated (HCPI) has relaunched anew its customer assistance initiative to help customers whose vehicles were ravaged by Typhoon Carina (international name Gaemi).

Available in any of its dealerships nationwide, the Japanese automaker’s local arm has reactivated the “Honda Helps” program that offers 30-percent discount on select spare parts for units on units badly affected by the storm. The offer is up until September 30, 2024.

Below are the spare parts that will have the aforementioned price slash through the “Honda Helps” program:

• Electronic control unit
• Cooling fan motor
• Accelerator Pedal
• Throttle body
• Supplemental restraint system unit
• Meter Assembly
• Alternator
• Airbag module
• Electronic power steering
• Starter motor
• Cable reel
• Heater control
• Radiator fan motor
• Fuse Box (Multiplex Integrated Control Unit)
• Seatbelt pre-tensioner

“We would like to offer our sympathies to all Filipinos affected by super typhoon Carina. ‘Honda Helps’ is our way of supporting our loyal customers in bouncing back from this calamity and getting them back on the road as soon as possible. We sincerely hope everyone stays safe at this time,” HCPI President Rie Miyake said in a statement.

Further, the company noted that part of the Honda’s pledge to provide quality service and products is to “ensure the safety of its customers by making it easier to take care of their units.”
