LTFRB Accredits 2 New TNCs in Snappy Cab, RYD Global

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has approved two new transportation network companies (TNCs) in Aztech Solution International Corporation with its Snappy Cab service, and RYD Global Inc. with its, well, RYD Global service.

"With two new TNCs, there will be more choices for commuters," the LTFRB said in a statement.

With the addition of Snappy Cab and RYD Global to the list of TNCs accredited by the LTFRB, the agency is reportedly looking into increasing the number of transportation network vehicle service (TNVS) units in Metro Manila from its current supply base of 65,000, especially as Aztech Solution supposedly plans to activate 1,000 units in its first 30 days once its app is activated.
