MIAS 2017: Chevrolet PH officially launches all-new Spark, updated Trax

The all-new Chevrolet Spark may have been available in all of the American carmaker's local dealerships for the past couple of months but it's only now at the 2017 Manila International Auto Show that Chevrolet Philippines has officially launched the model. Longer, wider, and lower, the all-new Spark has a sportier stance than its predecessor. Its newly-designed lightweight 1.4-liter inline-four Ecotec engine has an all-aluminum  frame, and paired to the Continuously Variable Transmission, puts out 99 hp and 128 Nm of torque and "promises brisk and zippy performance while being frugal at the pump. Available in Mint My Mind, Brimstone, Pull Me Over red, Son of a Gun Gray Metallic, Black Meet Kettle, Summit White, and Switchblade Silver, the all-new Chevrolet Spark is available in three variants:

• Chevrolet Spark LT MT – P648,888
• Chevrolet Spark LT CVT – P682,888
• Chevrolet Spark LTZ CVT – P763,888

As for the Chevrolet Trax, it's more attractive than ever with its redesigned front fascia that's highlighted by the new halogen headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED taillights. Inside, the revised cener instrument panel complements the more upscale interior. Prices for the updated Chevrolet Trax are as follows:

• Chevrolet Trax LT – P1,358,888

Finally, Chevrolet Philippines also launched its Chevrolet Complete Care Program at the show, covering brand-new Chevrolet vehicles with a five-year Extended Warranty Program, or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. Also included in the program are 24/7 roadside assistance and customer service assistance, express service which guarantees one-hour service for 10,000, 20,ooo, and 30,000 kms preventive maintenance services (PMS), and upgraded PMS from the previous four months to every six months or 10,000 kms whichever comes first.
