Mitsubishi PH Brings Strada Athlete to its Stable

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has finally introduced the latest variant for its pick-up—the Mitsubishi Strada Athlete. 

The Mitsubishi Strada Athlete is still powered by the 2.4 liter MIVEC Turbo Clean Diesel engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that is able to produce 178 horsepower and 430Nm torque.

Available in both 4x2 and 4x4 variants, the Mitsubishi Strada Athlete, the latter has super select 4WD II system that allow you to shift to 4 driving modes on the fly.

On the outside, this pick-up truck sports a tougher and bolder aesthetics with its black dynamic shield, black front bumper garnish, 18-inch black alloy wheels, styling bar and side decal accents.

For its interiors, the Strada Athlete displays a two-tone black and orange leather with orange stitching accents in its seats, gear shift panel/knob and parking brake lever (available in the 4x4 variant).

In its bid to lessen driver fatigue during long drives, the Strada is equipped with cruise control and driver 8-way power seat adjust system.

For its safety features, the engineers of Mitsubishi Motors incorporated has fitted the following on the Mitsubishi Strada Athlete.

  •  Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM)
  • Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Assist (BSW with LCA)
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
  • Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System (UMS)
  • Trailer Stability Assist
  • Hill Descent Control
  • Hill Start Assist
  • Multi Around Monitor with guiding and expected course line
  • Auto High Beam
  • Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body.

The new Strada Athlete comes in 3 color ways such as White Diamond, Jet Black Mica, and Sunflare Orange (exclusive to the Athlete 4x4 variant). 

Prices for Strada Athlete are as follows:

STRADA ATHLETE 4x2 SRP: Php 1.443 million

STRADA ATHLETE 4x4 SRP: Php 1.76 million

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation President and CEO Mutsuhiro Oshikiri expressed confidence on the coming of the Strada Athlete.
