New round of fuel price cuts set this week

MANILA: Motorists can expect another round of price rollbacks on fuel products at the pump this week — days after fuel companies implemented major rollbacks.

Based on their corresponding advisories, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Seaoil, Unioil, and Petron shall conduct the following retail price cuts:

Product	Price adjustment (in Peso per liter)
Diesel	P0.10
Gasoline	P0.70
Kerosene	P0.80

The adjustments shall take effect tomorrow (July 8) — with other firms expected to follow suit.

In a social media post, the Department of Energy attributed the latest decline for the month of July to the improving situation in the Middle East and possible additional supply from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.

Last week, local oil players trimmed down the prices of their pump products:
