Finally, fuel companies are cutting motorists some slack on prices for several products at the pump today.

Based on their respective advisories, Pilipinas Shell, Petron, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, and Total will reduce the price of diesel by P0.35 per liter.

Aside from that, most of the aforementioned oil firms are also slashing P0.30 per liter on the pump price of kerosene.

However, the retail price for gasoline products continues to go up, increasing by P1.15 per liter anew.

Other companies are expected to implement the same adjustment.

Last week, petrol products went up by P1.15 per liter, diesel by P0.45 per liter and kerosene by P0.55 per liter.
