Price of gasoline continues to rise
Oil companies are set to continue jacking up the price of gasoline products by the pump as Metro Manila ends its first week under the renewed general community quarantine.
Based on their respective advisories, Pilipinas Shell and Cleanfuel will increase the price of gasoline by P0.15 per liter.
But the good news is that diesel pump prices will have a P0.20 per liter decrease. To add to that, Shell, the second largest oil retail network in the Philippines, are also set to cut their price for kerosene by P0.25 per liter.
Other oil firms are expected to follow suit.
Last week, fuel firms increased the prices of gasoline products by P0.60 per liter and diesel by P0.10 per liter, while imposing no movement on the price of kerosene.
Back in August 10, oil firms increased the price of gasoline by P0.25 per liter but reduced the prices of diesel and kerosene by P0.20 per liter and P0.35 per liter, respectively.
