Ram brings in 'refreshed' 1500 Rebel in PH

MANILA: Ram’s distributor in the Philippines has officially introduced the newest iteration of the 1500 Rebel.

 The full-sized pick-up truck’s refreshed version arrived months after its scheduled introduction in the local market back in 2024.

Per Inchcape Philippines, the new Ram 1500 Rebel boasts a new engine as well as aesthetic and technological upgrades.

Vehicle specifications

Exterior

On paper, the vehicle measures:

Complementing the vehicle’s overall aggressive layout are:

In addition, the new Ram 1500 Rebel is outfitted with a dual exhaust system with black tips, a truck bed cargo divider, power tailgate, and RamBox Cargo Management System with a 115-volt outlet and bed organization options.

Further, the vehicle comes with new 18-inch gloss black wheels, paired with 275/70 all-terrain tires, performance-tuned shock absorbers, an on-demand transfer case, a rear-locking differential, and four skid plates.

Interior

The new Ram 1500 Rebel offers a roomy and modern cabin space for its occupants.

Fitted in the middle of the dashboard is the new 14.4-inch touchscreen that has the fifth-generation Uconnect 5 system, which is the most advanced and largest screen ever fitted on a Ram vehicle.

Per Inchcape Philippines, the Uconnect 5 is five times faster versus the previous offering and has the following suite of system made up of the following:

• Wireless Apple CarPlay and Wired Google Android Auto
• Global positioning system navigation
• Off-Road information pages
• Five user profiles plus a valet mode (new feature)
• Fully customizable home screen for quick access to frequently used features and one-touch operation (new feature)
• Bluetooth Handsfree Phone and Audio that allows you to connect two mobile devices

The aforementioned set-up is matched to a 19-speaker Harman Kardon Sound System.

Furthermore, other amenities fitted inside the vehicle are the tilt/telescopic adjustable multi-function steering wheel, rotary shifter, electronically-adjustable bucket-type front seats (eight-way with memory for driver, six-way for front passenger) with two-way lumbar adjust and heating/cooling functions, and height adjustable front shoulder belts.
