Toyota PH starts EV push for 2023 with ‘Go Electrified’ tour

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) starts its electric vehicle (EV) thrust this year by kicking off its nationwide “Go Electrified with Toyota” tour.

Last January 19-22 at the Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa City, the leading automotive distributor in the country displayed its EV offerings namely the Toyota Corolla Altis, Corolla Cross, Camry, and Rav4 at the aforementioned program’s starting leg.

Aside from that, TMP also put up an electrified experiential booth to allow guests to be immersed on the technologies that can be enjoyed in the said vehicles.

In a statement, the Japanese automotive marque’s local arm expressed its firm belief in giving customers diverse and accessible options to help them make the shift towards using EV while addressing their specific mobility needs.

The company said that the initiative is “aligned with the principle that electrified vehicles can only make a significant impact on the environment with massive adoption of various carbon-neutral vehicle technologies.”

To note, Toyota offers various sustainable mobility solutions around the world namely, hybrid electric, plug-in electric, battery electric, as well as fuel cell and hydrogen-powered vehicles.

Further, TMP said that the “Go Electric with Toyota” tour will be held in other areas in Metro Manila and soon, to more locations around the Philippines.
