Toyota rolls out the new Alphard

It’s finally here. The all-new Toyota Alphard! After it was launched a couple of days ago in Japan, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP)—the country’s number 1 automotive company—recently welcomed the year with the arrival of its luxurious 3rd generation minivan, the Toyota Alphard.

The all-new Alphard comes with a more daring look with a unique version of sharper and smarter features.Obvious significant changes on the Alphard start out with the aggressive front grille (with redesigned bumper and chrome hood mouldings), front headlamps (with LED projector type with cornering lamp and auto leveling), and signature fins on both sides of the vehicle with new front foglamps and taillights.

Inside, there’s a generous passenger space for seven adults. Executives will appreciate the Alphard’s enhanced NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harness) as it promises to give both the driver and passenger ultimate riding comfort. Meanwhile, the extended wheelbase that measures 3,000 mm results in a roomier space for the utmost comfort. The lowered floor height also allows an easy ingress and egress for passengers. The door opening, on the other hand, has been widened by 70 mm for ease and accessibility.

One of the interesting features inside the Alphard was the linear illumination on the ceiling, which can adjust its brightness to 16 different colors depending on the driver or passenger’s mood. Details such as roller type sunshades, an 8-speaker audio system, and 4.2 inch TFT (Thin Film Transistor) abound inside the luxurious cabin.

Engine-wise, Toyota retained its responsive and reliable 3.5-liter, 6-cylinder in-line 24-valve, DOHC with dual VVT-I engine, which aims to achieve decent efficiency and low fuel emissions.

As per price, Toyota is selling the all-new Alphard at P3.292 million. It comes in three exciting colors: a new luxury white pearl, and black and silver metallic. For folks who need first class interior and a comfy ride, the Toyota Alphard might suit you as it combines the best of both worlds.
