The event is part of the numerous programs that the City Government of Valenzuela has lined up in time for its upcoming 400th founding anniversary.Established in 2014, the Valenzuela Auto Show showcased a wide array of vintage, custom, and hypercars that captivated the public's attention. The day-long event — made possible in partnership with JSK Custom Paint and Auto Works, Cleanfuel, Puregold Price Club, and Motul — featured around 100 cars.
Mayor Weslie Gatchalian said that just like the first two, the third Valenzuela Auto Show (held last June 24 at the Puregold Dalandanan parking grounds) not only serves as a ground to display automotive excellence, but also as a venue to showcase talent and craftsmanship.
Since the event was open to the public, Gatchalian noted that the day-long program fosters camaraderie between automotive enthusiasts and the viewing public.
“We have been doing this for the past years, nahinto lang tayo nung early stage ng pandemic (we just have to stop during the early stage of the pandemic). But we will try to continue this tradition and will try to find a bigger venue in the future,” Gatchalian said.
