WATCH: Nissan demonstrates e-4orce technology with no-spill ramen delivery

Nissan is giving Takumi Fujiwara (fictional protagonist of Shuichi Shigeno’s Initial D series) a run for his money as the Japanese carmaker has developed a technology to rival the tofu delivery guy’s skills in no-spill-water-cup-driving.

The company just released a new video that demonstrates how the Yokohama-based automotive brand’s latest vehicle control technology can provide a comfortable ride in e-4orce-equipped vehicles — as well as for bowls of noodles.

In the two-minute clip, Nissan shows a motorized server equipped with e-4ORCE technology swiftly — but securely — deliver bowls of ramen. The motorized device maintains the integrity of noodle presentation by suppressing sloshing and movement of the broth as it delivers ramen from chef to parton.

The e-4orce technology’s real-world application can benefit Nissan’s customers by reducing the swaying motion of the body as the vehicle decelerates. The all-wheel control of Nissan’s e-4orce technology accurately manages power output and braking performance for smoothness and stability.

Vehicle pitch and dive, which can cause motion sickness, are minimized through the front and rear motor regenerative braking when the vehicle is coming to a halt.

Engineers fine-tuned e-4orce's precision control technology and twin electric motors to provide unparalleled ride comfort for all vehicle occupants.

The Nissan e-4orce technology is offered on the all-new Nissan Ariya crossover EV.
