The Geely EX 5 is a confidence-inspiring and comfortable everyday SUV. The seats are very comfortable, and the materials are premium. The chassis balance is also quite good. However, at motorway speeds, tyre roar is noticeable, and to silence the warning bongs, you need to dig into menus. The range is also modest. However, when you look at what is being offered for the money you pay– including massaging seats, a panoramic sunroof, a full suite of safety tech, and a 1,000-watt 16-speaker stereo, the Geely EX 5 feels like the biggest bargain.
