Pricey but deserving
Generally, if you are looking to buy a car for around PHP 1.7 million in the Philippines, you will get great options in sedans, SUVs, etc. In that very sense, the Toyota Corolla Cross seems to be a little expensive for a lot of people. But if you go by my experience in the ownership of the car, you will not get such a smooth driving and comfortable car at this price point. The crossover is on the expensive side because it comes in a hybrid variant also. The standard model gets a 1.6L engine which has 140 PS power, which is no less compared to any other car.
