The new Audi A8 L 3.0 TFSI MHEV is among the models being retailed in the Audi Factory Warehouse Sale 2.0.
The Audi Factory Warehouse Sale 2.0—ongoing until July 31—offers price discounts on all Audi models and select models are being given with more than P1 million price cuts.
Apart from the hefty price slash, Audi vehicles purchased through the promo include an Audi Clean disinfection package, which makes sure the cars are thoroughly sanitized with advanced cleaning materials before these are released to customers.
Bannering the A8 L 3.0 TFSI MHEV’s barrage of features is its predictive active suspension.
This fully dynamic feature—which relies on electromechanical actuators to adjust settings—actively manages ride height in every situation.
Using a camera located at the front of the car, the system identifies uneven surfaces before these are reached, and predictively regulates the active suspension.
The predictive active suspension settings include “dynamic” and “comfort plus” which control the car’s air suspension and the Audi drive select dynamic handling system.
Even at a standstill, the predictive active suspension works. As soon as the the A8 L’s door handle is pulled, the body quickly rises to make ingress and egress even easier.
This, paired with Audi’s “pre sense 360°” system, increases the Audi A8 L’s passive safety function; in an impending side impact the active suspension raises the body on either side to absorb the energy.
The interior of the Audi A8 L looks like a spacious lounge with minimal forms elegantly outlined by ambient lighting. Occupants at the rear, can utilize the two Audi tablets and the Rear Seat Remote to enjoy watching movies on sites like Netflix, browse the Internet and access other apps.
The Audi Cool Box in the rear seat pampers passengers even more by keeping drinks chilled.
Audi’s MMI touch becomes the MMI touch response in the A8 L. At the center of the car’s instrument panel is a 10.1-inch touchscreen display. A second touchscreen display on the console of the center tunnel allows access to climate control and convenience features, including the ability to enter texts through handwriting recognition. Also, MMI Navigation plus serves as a media center that generates graphics in full HD resolution for the Audi virtual cockpit.
Part of its power mill is a mild-hybrid system composed of a belt alternator starter (BAS) and a lithium-ion battery with 10 Ah electrical capacity.
As soon as the driver steps on the throttle pedal again, the BAS prompts a swift, smooth restart. A new 48-volt system that functions as the main vehicle electrical system offers a high recuperation power of up to 12 kW plus start-stop operation from 22 km/h, reducing fuel consumption.
The new Audi A8 L’s engine operate in conjunction with a quick but gently shifting eight-stage tiptronic transmission. Audi’s quattro permanent all-wheel drive system with self-locking center differential comes as standard.
Aside from the A8 L 3.0 TFSI MHEV, other 2020 Audi models in the promo are the A4 1.4 TFSI and A6 2.0 TFSI sedans; the RS4 Avant TFSI; and the Q2 1.0 TFSI, Q3 1.4 TFSI, Q5 2.0 TDI, Q5 2.0 TFSI and Q8 3.0 TFSI MHEV SUVs.
