Airasia Ride has expanded its offerings by introducing the LadiesOnly Driver option.

    Yes. Airasia announced that it will launch in a few months more categories namely Priorityride, Joy in the ride, Driveforme and Quietdriver.
  • Launched in neighboring country Malaysia, the latest product in the app allows female passengers to book lady drivers “for a more comfortable ride.”

    The company assured that it will also sponsor first-time female drivers their public service vehicle learning course and examinations as well as the free medical check-ups worth up to RM400.

    On the other hand, active and new female drivers will receive a free dashboard camera.

    “Those interested to join the Airasia Ride Allstars family may sign up by downloading the Airasia Ride driver app or visit this page to register,” Airasia invited in a statement.

    Aside from the LadiesOnly, Airasia Ride will also launch the following categories in the coming months: 

    • Priorityride: Passengers will enjoy shorter waiting times and have their orders fulfilled by top-rated drivers
    • Joy in the ride: Enjoy a fun and surprise-filled ride 
    • Driveforme: Book a personal driver for your vehicle if you are not able to drive it yourself
    • Quietdriver: A quiet and peaceful ride throughout your journey

     “We are always looking for ways to innovate and provide a better and personalized experience for both our Super App users and drivers or riders of our delivery platform, which includes the ride-hailing, food and parcel delivery services,” Airasia Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Amanda Woo said.

    “We understand that passengers of Airasia Ride have different needs, and we are confident that the Community Drivers feature, starting with LadiesOnly rides will appeal to our existing airasia ride users and attract new ones. We are looking forward to welcoming our millionth passenger soon as we add more Community Drivers categories on our ride-hailing platform,” she added.

    For his part, Airasia Ride Regional CEO Lim Chiew Shan also expressed delight over the launching of the new LadiesOnly community.

    “Our new Community Drivers feature gives a fresh twist to your everyday commute. Whether you need to rush somewhere, looking to spice up a long ride back to the office, need someone to drive your car for you or just want to enjoy a quiet ride home after a long day, Airasia Ride has you covered. Be on the lookout for the many new exciting features the next time you open the Airasia Super App to book an airasia ride,” he noted.

    In line with the recent International Women’s Day, Airasia Ride will donate all proceeds (excluding driver’s commission fee) from LadiesOnly rides from March 8 to April 7 to the women communities in need through Women’s Aid Organization (WAO).
