Auto Expo 2020: Suzuki Maruti India Unveils 2nd-Gen Ignis

Suzuki, through its local distributor Maruti Suzuki India Limited, brought the firepower with the unveiling of the new IGNIS at the Auto Expo 2020. The latest IGNIS sports a tough overall looks with its imposing front fascia, wide rear appearance. Add to that the spoiler, roof rails and a high ground clearance and you get a sporty, urbane vibe to it. Powering the new IGNIS is a 1.2 liter BS6-compliant gasoline-fed engine, mated to either manual and Auto gear shift transmission options. The Auto gear shift provides a comfortable and seamless driving experience and saves from hassle of switching between gears without compromising on the fuel efficiency. For its interiors, the new Ignis has a spacious cabin fitted with distinct dual tone ivory interiors and new modern pattern for seat fabric. Aligning with signature NEXA blue colour, a blue highlight adorns the centre console. The new IGNIS comes with a 17.78cm SmartPlay studio. The new infotainment system can be connected to cloud, and offers features like live traffic, voice recognition, driver safety alerts and vehicle information. Maruti Suzuki is offering the new Ignis in two premium customisation options such as the Acropolis and Scorcher theme. In addition to these customization options the new IGNIS comes with three new dual tone options: Nexa Blue with Black, Lucent Orange with black roof and Nexa blue with silver roof.
