BPI MS, AXA offer preferred insurance rates for Honda Sensing-equipped vehicles

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has forged a partnership with AXA Philippines and BPI MS Insurance to secure special insurance rates for Honda Sensing-equipped models.

To be offered until December 31, the program covers the all-new Civic, CR-V, Accord, and all models launched within the timeframe that will bear the marque’s aforementioned suite of safety features.

“Honda has always strongly advocated road safety and HCPI is among the first car brands in the Philippines to offer a suite of driver-assist safety features which we now know as Honda Sensing. This is in line with Honda’s mission to provide safe and reliable vehicles to realize zero traffic collision fatalities, in which not only automobile occupants, but everyone, including pedestrians and other road users, may share the road safely and with peace of mind,” HCPI said in a statement. 

The recent launch of the 11th-generation Civic showcased the country's version of Honda Sensing which uses a monocular camera to provide the sedan the following features:

• Collision mitigation braking system (CMBS)
• Adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow
• Lane keeping assist system
• Road departure mitigation system with lane departure warning
• Auto high-beam
• Lead car departure notification System (new and exclusive on the all-new Civic)

Below are the models and variants that are offered with preferential rates from AXA Philippines and BPI MS Insurance:

According to HCPI, the motor vehicle insurance coverage for the aforementioned models include own damage and theft; acts of nature; voluntary third-party liability and excess bodily injury; voluntary third-party liability and property damage; as well as passenger accident (P50,000 per seat plus medical reimbursements).
