Carmudi PH Goes Big in First-Ever Car Sale Festival

The 2019 Philippine Autocon made history as the first Autocon to ever take place in the country. The event lasted for four days, from July 25 to 28 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, and it was a mecca of beautiful cars and everything else car enthusiasts enjoyed. There was a stunning display of vintage Japanese cars, including a 1997 Toyota Levin and a beautiful 1978 Nissan 280Z, a car simulator virtual reality game, booths for car accessories, a fleet of Ferraris, and a live auction hosted by HMR Auctions. As one of beepbeep.ph's major event partners, CARMUDI PHILIPPINES also brought out its A-game and hosted its first-ever grand car sale: CARMUDI KOTSELLA.

Strategically situated in the north parking lot of the World Trade Center, Carmudi Kotsella featured both new and used cars for sale with big discounts, various down payment options, and exclusive offers and freebies. In total, Carmudi partnered up with 15 dealerships to bring Kotsella to life and offer amazing cars to the customers. Five dealerships offered brand-new cars, namely Toyota Commonwealth, Toyota Pasig, Volvo, Subaru Manila Bay, and Nissan Gateway, while the used cars were supplied by 10 dealers: Carland Car Exchange, Marcars, James Quijano, North Edsa Cars, 88 Meralco Complex, Global Dominion, Jed Versatile, Automobili.co, Auto Royale, and Darfsman Autohaus. Right next to the car dealers were Standard Insurance and UCPB, ready to assist with the potential client's financing inquiries.

Various Kotsella-exclusive deals were also offered during the four-day event, including zero down-payment options and freebies like reverse cameras and TV Plus. Aside from the car sale, Carmudi also offered potential buyers the option to test drive any car that was present in the sale, including daily-drivers such as Hondas, Toyotas, and Nissans, to top brands like Mercedes Benz, Audi, and even Porsche.

The turnout of the Kotsella was a success, as Carmudi was able to sell multiple units, including a 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser and a 2004 BMW 530i. Inside the World Trade Center, Carmudi also had a booth, where people could play a game and win Carmudi-branded goodies. Potential customers also went to the booth and asked the Carmudi staff for assistance and more information regarding the brand.

The 2019 Philippine Autocon gave Carmudi a platform to be more visible to the car community, and an opportunity to be more recognizable as a brand. As there were booths both inside and outside the venue, Carmudi was able to reach different audiences and engage with customers face to face. In the future, Carmudi aims to have more opportunities like Kotsella, as it gives the brand more opportunities to be a household name and to also be able to reach its customers on a wider platform.
