Changan PH introduces refreshed CS15

MANILA: Changan Philippines started 2026 with the launch of the new CS15 for the country.

According to the Inchcape-led automotive distributor, the small sport utility vehicle’s latest version provides a “compelling combination of modern features, competitive pricing, and exceptional value for money.”

Said to be designed for both daily drives and weekend road trips, the brand’s latest take on the Changan CS15 is expected to cater to young, first-time vehicle buyers and those looking for a functional, reliable, feature-packed, and cost-efficient mobility.

Here’s what customers will have with the new Changan CS15.

Vehicle specifications

The nameplate’s latest iteration now comes with a multi-dimensional rhombic grille (instead of the chrome of the previous version) and 17-inch alloy wheels in gunmetal color (similarly-sized compared to its predecessor, which was in two tone then).

Aside from that, the new Changan CS15 has the following portions:

• Automatic halogen headlights with LED daytime running lights
• Moonroof
• Functional satin silver-colored roof rails
• Rear fog lamps

For its interior, the new Changan CS15 is outfitted with soft and premium materials paired with a multi-functional leather steering wheel. To make it more appealing to the tech-oriented clients, the crossover now has a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth as well as wireless Apple Carplay Android Auto connectivity.

Ensuring that the needs of the passengers are met, the model is fitted with two USB ports (Type A and C) in the front and one Type-C socket for the rear as well as an additional air-conditioning vent.

Other cabin amenities that can also be seen in the new Changan CS15 are:

• Six-way adjustment for driver seat
• Seven-inch digital instrument cluster
• Four-speaker audio system
• Air Conditioner with pollen filter
• Parking sensors and rearview camera

Under the vehicle’s hood is the same 1.5-liter Blue Core gasoline-fed engine that can dish out peak churns of:

Power is sent to the wheels via a five-speed wet-type dual clutch transmission.

Further, the new Changan CS15 is equipped with a myriad of safety, security, and driver assistive technologies that come in the form of:

• Anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist
• Electronic stability program
• Hill hold control
• Disc brakes on all four wheels
• Tire pressure monitoring system
• Rear child safety lock, ISOFIX
• Central door lock
• Driver seatbelt reminder

Retailed for P850,000, the new Changan CS15 is available in these color options:

• Glitter Galaxy Silver Gray
• Red
• Shiny Pearl Black
• Snowy White
