Davao PNP Units Get Mobile Patrol Vehicles, Equipment

Davao Region's five Provincial Police Offices (PPOs) received patrol vehicles and other mobility assets on Monday, September 23, as part of the Police Regional Office's (PRO-11) continuous upgrading and modernization of operational capabilities.

During a ceremony at the PRO-11 headquarters here, PPOs also received armored vests, Kevlar helmets, and Galil rifles.

Brig. Gen. Marcelo Morales, PRO-11 director, said the vehicles and equipment seek to "add an impact to the efficiency in giving premium service to the community."

"This newly acquired equipment will strengthen police operations in maintaining peace and order especially that the Philippine National Police (PNP) is now pursuing its relentless drive against criminality, terrorism, and illegal drugs," Morales said.
