Diesel, kerosene to climb by more than P1/L
Oil prices are set to raise their prices at the pump this week — with both diesel and kerosene set to jack up by more than P1 per liter.

Some local players will implement adjustments on pump prices as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow.Based on their announcements, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, Petron, and Unioil are set to increase the retail price of diesel by P1.20 per liter. On the other hand, gasoline products shall reflect a P0.50 per-liter-hike tomorrow (September 5, 2023).
Additionally, the pricing of kerosene will be up by P1.10 per liter.
Other oil companies are expected to follow suit.
The latest adjustment on fuel price — to reflect on some firms by 12:01 a.m. — shall continue the string of price hikes last month. Last week, the aforementioned firms added P0.70 per liter on the retail price of diesel, P0.30 per liter on gasoline, and P0.80 per liter on kerosene.
