DOTr amends traffic violation settlement period to 15 working days

Relatedly, the agency also said that the confiscation of driver’s licenses in apprehension cases involving traffic violations must be suspended immediately.

While the confiscation has been suspended, the license of the traffic violator will be under alert. Should the subject fail to settle the case within the new lead time, his or her license will be automatically suspended or revoked.
