Gas price to hike by P1 tomorrow

Prices of fuel at the pump will continue to go upward as the country approaches the end of the first half of 2021.

Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Petron and Cleanfuel will jack up the pump price of gasoline by ₱1 per liter and diesel by ₱0.65 per liter starting tomorrow, June 29.

Meanwhile, the first two companies mentioned that it will also raise the price of kerosene by ₱0.65 per liter.

Other oil firms are expected to impose similar movements in their pricing.

The past four movements in the whole month of June were price increases. Just last week, gasoline went up by P0.75 per liter, while diesel and kerosene had an additional P0.70 per liter each. Back in the third week, fuel companies adjusted upward, raising the price of gasoline by ₱0.50 per liter, ₱0.40 per liter of diesel and kerosene by ₱0.30 per liter.
