Following the teaser video released early this monthChevrolet Philippines has confirmed that it will bring back the once-discontinued Trax nameplate. In true American fashion, the model will be revealed on July 4, which is the United States’ celebration of Independence Day.

    2024 Chevrolet Trax

    To be offered in three trims namely LT, Redline and RS, the Philippine-bound sport utility vehicle is 279 millimeters (mm) longer and 51mm wider than the previous model. The five-seater crossover can also haul cargo as much as 1,405 liters.

    Aside from growing larger, the new-generation Chevrolet Trax comes with a sportier look in line with the brand’s global design. It is shaped with refined contours and swept-back lines to highlight its muscular physique complemented by modern cues in the fascia, updated all LED lighting elements across all variants, and unique wheel design.

    Powering the upcoming vehicle is a 1.2-liter E-Turbo GM Prime three-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

    2024 Chevrolet Trax

    Inside the forthcoming vehicle is a large floating infotainment system (eight-inch for LT and 11-inch Redline and RS. Other standard amenities include the following:

    • Electronic parking brake with brake auto hold
    • smart key passive entry
    • Center console with storage spaces, rear air vents and USB ports
    • Flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls for the Redline and RS trims
    • Reverse Camera

    Further, the new-generation Chevrolet Trax RS variant will come with wireless phone charging dock, power liftgate with height adjust system, and electronic sunroof.

    Moreover, eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat feature is available in the upcoming Chevrolet Trax's RS and Redline options.
