Here are the 'Safe-Tech' features of the new Changan CS35 Plus

Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) has recently launched the new CS35 Plus, which is eyed to take a chunk of the crossover market.

Despite wearing an affordable price tag, the nameplate’s latest iteration is loaded with “Safe-Tech” features that makes it a well-equipped, bang-for-the-buck offering.

Below are the numerous assistive technologies found in the new Changan CS35.

• Front collision warning: gives the driver visual alerts on the digital instrument display, and sets off an alarm to brake when the system detects possible collision with a vehicle in front.
• Autonomous emergency braking system: supplements the driver’s brake force during emergency situations.
• Adaptive cruise control: utilizes the vehicle’s built-in radar system to detect the motion of the vehicle in front and provide information to actively adjust and decrease or increase your vehicle’s speed accordingly. 
• Around view camera and monitor system: provides a 360-degree view of the surroundings to help avoid obstructions when parking or maneuvering in tight spaces. CMPI notes that it also gives high-definition quality video recording in all directions, plus emergency video recording when the camera detects possible danger, like accidental collision or sudden braking.
• Six-airbag system: made up of front, side, and curtain airbags to mitigate the effects of collision on occupants

Aside from that, the new Changan CS35 Plus has a smart window system with anti-pinch function and auto-close feature that closes all open windows and sunroof if left open upon locking the vehicle.  

Further, the recently-unveiled model wears an ultra-high strength body frame that maintains rigidity while mitigating the impact force to its crumple zone areas, thus creating a safe cabin for occupants.

Available in three variations, the new Changan CS35 Plus are priced at the following introductory prices:

• Lite: P898,000
• Hype: P969,000
• Luxe: P999,000

The new Changan CS35 Plus can be seen within the Changan Limitless Pavilion at 2022 Manila International Auto Show on April 7-10, 2022.
