A week after
Carmudi Philippines reported that the
Honda Civic Type R will make its local-market debut at the
2017 Manila International Auto Show next week,
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has confirmed that the much-awaited vehicle will indeed grace its booth at the aforementioned event.
The debut of the Civic Type R is in line with this year's theme of "Beyond Performance" for the annual motor show, and with HCPI portraying "Joy in Motion" for its display, it will have a lineup of sporty vehicles to join the high-performance car.
To be launched at the show is the new
Honda HR-V MUGEN variant that's been enhanced with a bolder and more athletic appeal. Joining it will be a MIAS Edition of the Honda City that has features exclusive to the variant. To be sold only during the four-day event, only
eight units of the
Honda City MIAS Edition will be made available to the public.
Also on display at the show are concepts of the
Honda Civic and
Honda BR-V that have been fitted with
Modulo accessories "to revive and showcase Honda's sporty DNA."
