MG PH adds Cebu South dealership to growing dealer network

The official distributor of Morris Garages (MG) in the Philippines has inaugurated its Cebu South dealership — the latest addition to its growing number of sales facilities locally.

Strategically-located at Plaza Margarita, Barangay Lipata in Minglanilla, MG Cebu South is the brand’s 42nd dealership in the country. The company said in a statement that the location is a known popular gathering point that is “frequented regularly by residents in the area and guests from neighboring townships.”

The dealership, which is under Gateway Group, is also within close proximity of other municipalities including the cities of Naga, Toledo, and Talisay.

The MG Cebu South occupies a 210-square-meter space in the area that houses a display area that can showcase three vehicles and a comfortable customer lounge, as well as a service bay that can accommodate pre-scheduled after sales and service requests.

Gateway Group Executive Vice President Michael Goho said that its short-term target for MG Cebu South is to increase awareness and visibility for the MG brand in the area while enabling customers to trust the quality and durability of MG vehicles, making them aware of the high value-for-money proposition that MG offers.

“In the long-term, we envision MG Cebu South to positively contribute to the continuous growth and sustainability of the MG brand here and in the rest of Cebu, while establishing a solid community of MG owners who will be more than willing to spread the good word about MG,” he added.

Aside from vehicle offerings, the newly-opened Cebu South dealership offers freebies on new car purchases and MG Philippines’ host of after sales complements, including five-year or 100,000-kilometer (whichever comes first) vehicle warranty; MG HERO Services, which provides 24/7 roadside support through the MG Philippines hotline (+632-5328-4664); and the My MG mobile app which allows clients to easily schedule vehicle servicing appointments from the convenience of their smart devices.

Customers can also use the My MG App to pre-order genuine spare parts and book a visit from MG Philippines’ Mobile Garage service caravan that can do vehicle home service.
