Oil firms to slash pump prices this week
Oil companies in the Philippines are set to trim down the prices of their products at the pump this week.

The adjustments on pump prices will be implemented as early as 12:01 a.m.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, and Unioil will reduce the retail price of gasoline products by P0.35 per liter and diesel by P0.10 per liter.
In addition, Caltex and Seaoil shall also slash P0.30 per liter on the pump price of kerosene.
The adjustment on pump prices — which other fuel companies are expected to follow suit — shall begin at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday (June 20).
Last week, prices of gasoline went up by P1.20 per liter, diesel by P1.40 per liter, and kerosene by P1.30 per liter.
